Grow Series

Grow Banner Final

This year at Cross Points we are leaning into the word “GROW.” For the month of January, we are going to slow down so we can grow up in our relationship with Jesus.

“Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” Colossians 2:7

Come grow with us this month!

One Child Gives Sermon Series

Advent Banner 2015

One Child gives…

Hope, Love, Joy and Peace.

Only one child in the history of the world can bring lasting hope, love, joy and peace.  This child was born in a little town and in a dirty manger to a humble virgin.  He was sent by His Father from the glorious throne room of heaven with one purpose – to reconcile humanity back to their Creator.

Jesus, Emmanuel—God with us, lived life on earth as a perfect reflection of His Father in heaven.  The story of Christmas is the story of one Child, who came and lived among cruel humanity and brought hope to the hopeless, love to the broken, joy to those who mourn, and perfect peace to the world.

Join us this Advent season as we celebrate one Child!

Reach Series

Reach Missions 2015“I will also make you a light of the nations, so that My salvation may REACH to the ends of the earth.” Isaiah 49:6

This month, we are focusing on missions! For many of us, the word “missions” does not enter our thoughts on a daily basis. We are occupied with our families and friends, working our jobs, eating, and trying to get the most out of life. This is good, but, how often do we REACH out to others in our daily life?

Jesus calls us to be a light to the world. He chooses to use you and me to REACH out to others! As we hear stories this month from our missionaries, let their stories challenge us to REACH out to our neighbors, co-workers, family and friends daily. Let’s do Missions!

One day Jesus was asked a penetrating question by an influential leader.  The question was, “What is the most important thing I should be doing?”

It’s a great question!

Many people today ask the same kind of question, “What is the most important thing in life and how can I find true purpose and meaning?”

The only way to discover the answers to those questions is to hear Jesus’ response. In essence Jesus says, the most important thing anyone can do is place God first and foremost in their lives.

Join us this month as we learn to love Jesus with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength!
