Kindness is one of the primary actions of a believer in Jesus Christ.  We are called to love our neighbor, provide for the poor, care for the orphan and tend to the widow.  One indicator of the Holy Spirit living in our lives is kindness.  It’s what we do because of what He did.  God Himself calls the entire human race to follow Him, to be in relationship with him and through kindness He leads us to repentance.  We are kind because He was first kind to us.
