November means a lot of things to a lot of people – Thanksgiving, Fall, just weeks until Christmas.   At Cross Points Church, November means all of these things and one more – Missions Week.

Internally, we call it our annual Missions Conference. We welcome back our sponsored missionaries (26 this year!), and we offer multiple opportunities for you to connect with them.

Please look below for opportunities to meet, spend time with, encourage, and bless these missionaries.  We have plenty of events for you to enjoy:

• Sunday, November 15 – All-Church Lunch  – It will be a great time to eat with the missionaries and hear all that God is doing through them.  Lunch will be right after service.

• Sunday, November 15 – All-church Worship Service – This is a one hour worship service focused on missions that starts at 6:00 p.m.

• Monday, November 16 – Men’s Night – This night is focused on the men of the Church getting to know the men out on the mission field. It starts at 6:00 p.m.

• Wednesday, November 18 – All-church “Night of Missions” – This night is about getting Cross Points more familiar with our missionaries. It starts at 6:00 p.m.

• Thursday, November 19 – BLOOM! Women’s Night – This night is focused on the women of the Church getting to know the women out on the mission field. It starts at 7:00 p.m.

• Saturday, November 21 – Missions Banquet – This is a chance to enjoy a dinner with the missionaries and hear about what they are doing. It starts at 6:30 p.m., at the Milburn Country Club. Cost is $23 per person.

We want you to know that everyone is invited. We mean EVERYONE! So bring your family, friends, acquaintances, and the random fellow you met jogging this morning and let’s have a Tailgate picnic.

It is going to be fantastic.

We will broadcast the Chiefs game, eat food, play games and build community. There will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Study

A lot of us feel stuck. This is not a novel perception- this is human. We are stuck trying to be perfect. Stuck in sadness. Stuck feeling numb. Stuck pursuing more stuff to make us happy. Stuck in something we can’t even name. And most of our stuck places are invisible to the world. Which keeps us from dealing with them.  God has a plan for these spaces inside of us, the places we feel broken, but we have to go to Him.

Experience

Come join us as we gather together to do a 7 week study called STUCK. During these weeks we will uses projects, stories, and Bible study to engage our hearts and minds to take an honest look at the things going on in our lives. God has a plan to restore us.
