Find A Connect Group

Life is not meant to be lived alone.  You were created to experience life with other people, and that’s why at Cross Points Church, we encourage you to get connected to a Connect Group.

Connect Groups are made up of people who meet on a regular basis for the purpose of connecting relationally with one another, growing spiritually through prayer, encouragement, and biblical application, and serving together. In short, Connect Groups encourage all members to connect, commit, and create.

Groups come in all shapes and sizes — married couples, singles, men, women, kids, no kids- the list goes on. No matter where you are in life, there’s a group for you.

Ready to dive in? Find a group that fits you!

This Christmas our goal for Cross Points is to be lights where God has placed us, and to do this we are going to serve the children and families in our communities.

So, here are the two ways we are asking you to get involved this season.

First, adopt a child for Christmas.  Schools in our communities have given us names of children and families who just need a little help this Christmas.  You can be a light to these families by providing parents gifts to give their children.

In the lobby, you will find a table with different names and ages of children you can choose from.

Maybe you can not shop or purchase gifts, that’s okay, we would appreciate any donations for these families.

The second way we are going to serve the children and families in our community is by locking arms with Shawnee Community Services.

On Saturday, December 16, Cross Points will help put on a Christmas Carnival for the families in the Kansas City area.   You and your family can serve families in need for just a little over an hour at The Shawnee Civic Center.

In addition to serving, Shawnee Services is asking us to bring a wrapped board game and a bag of candy to give as a family gift.  We need a lot of volunteers, so please sign up at the same table in the lobby.

We want to challenge each of you to be a light this Christmas!

Have you ever felt like not celebrating Christmas? Maybe the holiday season seems empty, dreary, even dark.  This Christmas season, join us as we take time out of our busy schedules to remember the reason for all the hustle and bustle. We will remind ourselves that Jesus is the Light of the World and the Hope of all humanity.
